The Regional Assembly of the Young Democrats, which met in Udine (will meet again next Saturday to elect the regional secretary of the GD), has approved the following document, noting that January 27 marks the "Day of Remembrance."

On January 27 we celebrate the "Day of Remembrance" in memory of the extermination and persecution of the Jewish people and Italian military and political deportees in the Nazi death camps.
The regional assembly of the Young Democrats of Friuli Venezia Giulia wants to join the commemoration of this day, bringing the contribution of a community of young people who wants to be the guarantor of our country's history, on which to build an Italy just, tolerant and welcoming .
We feel the burden on our civilization, the mother of those ideologies devastating cause of death for millions of human beings, guilty only by being a few.
today is reaffirming the normal human plurality, crumbling prejudices, racist logic of power. Violence does not stop other hand, we fear that the tragedy could not have been sufficient, that man has not learned from himself.
remember Holocaust victims, to their memory we must now stop the violence that has filled the world, the conflict in Gaza, nell'inumana each of the landings in Lampedusa, in the resurgence of re-Semitic or even in Italy.
Stop the Violence in the world, this is our dream and we want to dedicate it to remember the victims of the January 27 celebrations.
